Where I go I go for myself
What I've seen I've seen for myself
My life is mine to do as I please
No more lies, I escaped that disease
Autonomy comes with isolation
Understanding leads to bewilderment

I rest with the scorpions and tarantulas
Insects cross my body as I sleep in the sand
I hide from the sun under large rocks
I ration my food and water
I carry everything that is my own
I have no use for sobriety
Human contact is a distant memory
I have long since lost my mind
There is no choice but forward
So why do I linger here?
